Gabriel Zavala

The Mayor’s Office has authorized that a $150,000.00 reward be offered for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person (s) responsible for the murder of Gabriel Zavala which occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday February 26, 2005 in the area of 123 Valmar Street in San Francisco.
Mr. Zavala was 29 years old at the time of his death. He was employed as an engineer for the NASA Ames Research Facility, in Mountain View. He leaves behind a wife, a seven-year-old daughter, a 4-year-old son, and grieving parents and sisters.
It is believed that there may be persons who either witnessed the event or may have information obtained from the suspects. We are urging witnesses to come forward. The person (s) who committed this pitiless act must be caught and brought to justice. The viciousness and wanton disregard for the lives of others, evidenced by this crime, cannot be tolerated.
