SFPD Announces AB 481 Annual Report Community Meetings #003-26

The SFPD will be hosting community meetings regarding California Assembly Bill 481. AB 481 requires California law enforcement agencies to submit use policies relating to the procurement and use of “military equipment.” AB 481 mandates that each agency author an annual report relating to the approved use policies on their military equipment and host a well-publicized and conveniently located community engagement meeting to allow members of the public to discuss and ask questions regarding the annual report and SFPD’s funding, acquisition, or use of equipment listed in the report.
