Public Safety Cameras

What Are They?

The city's newest Public Safety Cameras are defined as any digital recording surveillance system installed at fixed locations in an open and obvious manner by the City and County of San Francisco to record public streets, sidewalks, or common areas of public housing complexes to enhance public safety. 

For additional information, view the Public Safety Camera Ordinance passed by voters in 2024.

  • 3rd Street / Kirkwood Avenue
  • 3rd Street / Newcomb Avenue
  • 3rd Street / Oakdale Avenue
  • 3rd Street / Quesada Avenue

  • 16th Street & Mission Street
