Members of the public are invited to join Central District Police Station as they host their bi-annual "Use of Force" and "Officer-Involved Shooting" presentations.
In order to build accountability, transparency, and trust with the community surrounding officer use of force and officer-involved shootings, the Department has committed to holding regular discussions with the community on these topics. The goal of the discussions is to increase awareness and understanding of the public regarding police officer use of force and how the Department investigates reportable use of force and officer use of firearms.
