February

Officer Nagai was recognized for successfully de-escalating a potentially suicidal individual. Officer Nagai utilized specialized, calm communication techniques and active listening, which ultimately saved the life of the subject. His efforts also ensured the safety of other officers.
March

- Officer Albert Johnson of the Strategic Investigations Unit
A person plummeted backward onto the pavement from a crowded Muni platform, striking her head and becoming unresponsive within seconds. Officers Ching and Boyle reacted immediately.
