$25,000 REWARD The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $25,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for the death of Helen Canafax. HOMICIDE VICTIM HELEN CANAFAX On April 10th, 2009 at 1735 hrs., Helen Canafax was the victim of a violent street robbery in front of 680 Folsom Street in the City and County of San Francisco. During the robbery, she was knocked to the ground, breaking her hip. She was transported to the hospital, but later died as a result of her injuries. The suspect was described as a Black Male, 35 to 40 years old, 6'2", 180 lbs., wearing a red or black colored sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
