Officers with the San Francisco Police Department on Tuesday made 25 arrests and seized over 380 grams of narcotics around the Tenderloin as part of our ongoing progress in dismantling illegal drug markets in the city, Acting Chief Paul Yep announced Wednesday.

The enforcement included buy-bust operations along Sixth Street, the 700 block of Golden Gate and Grove and Hyde streets by SFPD foot beat officers, SFPD Narcotics Unit, and San Francisco Sheriff’s Office deputies. Officers made multiple arrests and seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine base, heroin, and an illegal firearm.

Officers from the SFPD’s Fugitive Enforcement Recovery Team (FRET), our Honda Unit, Tenderloin Patrol, and foot beat officers made additional arrests for outstanding warrants and other drug-related charges.

“Our officers are relentlessly going after illegal drug activity in our neighborhoods, including the Tenderloin,” Yep said. “Every day, we’re seizing large amounts of deadly narcotics and helping improve conditions on our streets. The message is getting out that this activity is not tolerated in San Francisco.”

The SFPD would like to thank the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office for their partnership in Tuesday’s enforcement efforts.

The enforcement is part of the SFPD Drug Market Agency Coordination Center (DMACC). Previous areas of targeted enforcement focused on 7th and Mission and United Nations Plaza. Those areas have seen significant improvement in street conditions and reductions in crime.

In 2025, SFPD enforcement efforts have expanded along the 6th Street corridor in the South of Market neighborhood and in the Mission District. Although arrests have been made, these investigations remain open and active. Anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 1-415-575-4444 or Text-a-Tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD.
