San Francisco Police Arrest Suspect in Battery of Elderly Female Victim 20-120

On October 19, 2020, at approximately 4:47 PM San Francisco Police officers from Tenderloin Station responded to the area of Market and Stockton Streets regarding a battery. The officers determined that the victim, a 72-year-old female San Francisco resident, was standing at a bus stop on the 700 block of Market Street at approximately 4:45 PM when she was pushed by the suspect who was running east on Market Street causing her to fall to the ground. She was transported to a local hospital where it was determined that she had suffered a serious but non-life-threatening injury.

On October 20, 2020, Tenderloin Police Station’s Investigative Team (SIT) issued a crime alert to SFPD members. Within seconds, several officers independently identified the suspect as 33-year-old Christopher Domeier.

On October 21, 2020, at 2:03 PM, Domeier was taken into custody on the 500 block of Columbus Avenue in San Francisco. He was booked on the charges of battery with serious injuries [NW 243(d) PC –felony] and elder abuse [NW 368(b)(1) PC – felony].

Domeier was previously arrested for assaulting an 82-year-old male San Francisco resident on September 14, 2020, at Eddy and Jones Streets and was booked on the charges of battery with serious injuries [NW 243(d) PC –felony] and elder abuse [NW 368(b)(1) PC – felony].
