Off-Duty San Francisco Police Officer Involved in Shooting Incident 19-112

On the evening of Sunday, August 25, 2019, an off-duty San Francisco Police officer
was involved in a shooting incident in the City of El Cerrito.

Authorities from El Cerrito and Contra Costa County are conducting investigations into
the incident. The San Francisco Police Department Internal Affairs Division is
conducting an administrative investigation.

The officer is currently on paid administrative leave.
