PELLETB Exam and Physical Ability Test

The SFPD's Recruitment Unit will be at Fresno State University for an all-in-one testing event where applicants will have the opportunity to complete the PELLETB Written Exam and the Physical Abilities Test (PAT).

PELLETB Exam: 9 AM-11 AM

SFPD administers the POST Entry-level Law Enforcement Test Battery (PELLETB). The PELLETB is a timed, 1-hour and 45-minute written test consisting of multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions designed to measure reading and writing ability.

Check your confirmation and plan to arrive no later than the event start time to allow for check-in.

REMINDER:

  • Must bring your ID for check-in. Attendees without an ID will be turned away.
  • Bring your own water.
  • An SFPD application is required to participate in the PELLETB. Registrations without an application will be cancelled. Visit the SF Careers site to apply to the SFPD.

Physical Abilities Test (PAT): 11 AM-1 PM

Following the PELLETB exam, you will have an opportunity to participate in the Physical Ability Test (PAT) from 11 AM to 1 PM. Watch the Physical Abilities Test (PAT) video.
