What is the SFPD PLES?
PLES, also known as 10B, is a service provided by the San Francisco Police Department that allows private entities to hire uniformed police officers for various assignments such as retail stores, movie productions, construction sites, office buildings, and area patrols. The service also covers small events such as weddings or private parties, and larger events such as concerts and festivals.
