The purpose of this notice is to inform members that DGO 11 .13 Directed and Recommended Referrals to the SFPD Behavioral Science Unit, effective 7/12/2023, is not currently applicable to employees represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The Department and the Police Commission continue to engage in the meet and confer process with SEIU and hope to reach an agreement in the near future. Until such an agreement has been met, employees represented by S EIU should not be asked to acknowledge DGO 11.13. Upon the completion of the meet and confer process an updated Department Notice will be issued.
