The purpose of this notice is to define the order of the Department ribbons that have been awarded to its members. Ribbons are to be worn on a member’s Class A jackets or Class AA jackets for Commissioned Officers. Members shall adhere to the following order of ribbon placement:
Gold
Silver, Bronz, Meritorious
Life Saving, Purple Heart, Police Comm
CIT, Leadership, Unit Citation
Military, 1989 Earthquake, 2010 World Series
Superbowl 50, COVID-19

If your ribbons are showing signs of wear and tear, please contact the Police Commission Office at [email protected] for replacements.
