Tenderloin Officers Make a Swift Arrest of an Attempted Homicide Suspect with Assistance from RTIC Unit 25-140

On November 12, 2025, at approximately 7:57 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the 100 block of Eddy Street regarding a shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and met with two victims. Officers were advised that a verbal confrontation occurred that turned into a physical altercation. The suspect brandished a firearm and shot towards a victim. The suspect then fled the scene. 

The victims had no reported injuries as a result of the incident.

With the assistance of the Real Time Investigation Center (RTIC), officers located the suspect matching the description provided near the area of Cyril Magnin and Eddy Streets. The suspect was placed under arrest, and a firearm was located and seized.

The suspect was identified as 34-year-old Katelyn Williams.

Williams was booked into San Francisco County Jail for attempted murder (664/187 PC), carrying a concealed weapon (25400(a)(1) PC), negligent discharge of a firearm (246.3 PC), and brandishing a firearm (417 PC).
