On Friday, August 8th, 2025, at approximately 3:40 p.m., San Francisco Police officers assigned to the Honda Unit were patrolling Golden Gate Park and nearby neighborhoods when they responded to the area of Fulton and 26th Avenue regarding a subject selling illegal narcotics.

The Honda Unit officers and additional officers arrived on scene and observed an adult male matching the description provided, and attempted to detain him with the assistance of U.S. Park Rangers. After a brief struggle, officers detained the male subject without further incident.

Through the course of the investigation, officers developed probable cause to arrest the male identified as 25-year-old Miles Vivirito of Frazier Park, CA.

Officers located and seized suspected illegal narcotics from Vivirito’s person and vehicle.

Miles Vivirito was booked into San Francisco County Jail for the three counts of possession of suspected ecstasy (MDMA) for sale (11378 H&S), possession of ketamine for sale (11378 H&S), possession of LSD for sale (11378 H&S), resisting arrest (148(a)(1) PC) and parole violation (3056PC).

The SFPD Honda Unit, along with all other on-duty officers, was instrumental in keeping the public safe during the Outside Lands Music Festival.

Although an arrest has been made, this remains an open and active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444 or Text-A-Tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD.

SFPD would like to thank event staff and concert security at Golden Gate Park for their assistance in identifying Vivirito as a person selling illegal narcotics during the musical festival. SFPD is dedicated to keeping everyone safe and encourages all to “If you see something, say something.” We will continue to patrol the area and nearby neighborhoods to ensure everyone is safe and having a great time in our city.
