On August 2nd, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., San Francisco Police officers were patrolling the area of Fulton Street and 35th Ave, monitoring the area during a concert event series in Golden Gate Park and nearby neighborhoods.

While patrolling the area, officers observed an illuminated open trailer near the area of Fulton Street and 35th Ave with an unknown male inside. As officers approached the vehicle, numerous tanks filled with suspected nitrous oxide were observed in the trailer.

Through the course of the investigation, officers developed probable cause to arrest the male identified as 32-year-old Thomas Siderio of Philadelphia, PA.

Officers located and seized approximately 100 metal tanks, as well as numerous balloons from the scene. The trailer was towed to Auto Return as further evidence.

Thomas Siderio was booked into San Francisco County Jail for the distribution or dispensing of nitrous oxide (381e(b)3 PC) and the possession of nitrous oxide with intent to ingest for intoxication (381(b)PC).

Although an arrest has been made, this remains an open and active investigation. Anyone with Information is asked to contact the SFPD at 1-415-575-4444 or Text A Tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD.

Our officers will continue to patrol all areas of Golden Gate Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. SFPD is dedicated to keeping everyone safe and will continue to ensure concertgoers have a safe time while in our city.
