SFPD Investigates Homicide in the Tenderloin District #26-015

On February 11, 2026, at approximately 8:55 a.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the 100 block of Turk Street regarding a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately began rendering aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Paramedics arrived on scene to perform lifesaving measures. Despite the lifesaving efforts of the emergency responders, the victim was declared deceased on scene. During the investigation, officers located and detained a person of interest.
