San Francisco Police Are Seeking Public Assistance in Locating Treasure Island Fatal Hit and Run Suspect 21-147

On Thursday, July 29, 2021, at approximately 9:32 p.m., San Francisco Police officers from Southern Station were patrolling the area of Treasure Island Road and Macalla Road when they observed a male victim down in the roadway. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is led by the SFPD Traffic Collision Investigation Unit. Investigators have cause to believe that the death occurred as a result of a hit-and-run collision.

Based on evidence collected at the scene investigators believe the suspect vehicle is possibly a 2012 to 2016 Chevrolet Impala. The suspect vehicle would likely have some front-end damage.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect vehicle and the suspect driver.
