Theft from Locked Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property, Probation Violation

On 9/29/18, Central Plainclothes Officers conducted a vehicle burglary abatement on the Unit BLK of Bay St. Officers observed a suspect reach inside the open window of a locked vehicle to remove a suitcase. Officer detained the suspect and placed the suspect under arrest for grand theft and possession of stolen property. Since the suspect was on probation for vandalism and attempted burglary, he was additionally arrested for violating his probation. The suspect was booked at the County Jail.
