Taraval Station Newsletter - May 3, 2018

Firstly, I want to thank everyone who attended our “Coffee with a Cop” and “Dialogue over Dim Sum.” We had great conversation and attendance at both events. I would like to extend a special thanks to Henry’s House of Coffee for their donation of a free cup of coffee to everyone in the community who came. I would also like to thank SFSafe for their donation and Sun Maxim’s for providing us the location. These great events would not have been possible without your generosity and support. Keep an eye out more events like this in the future.

Secondly, May is already upon us. Our crime stat numbers from April are showing improvement. Burglaries are down and theft from vehicle are also low. Robbery numbers had increased slightly due to the shoplifting incidents where force was used. We are continuing to educate the community about “Park Smart” and encouraging everyone to contact SFSafe to learn more on how to make your home more resistant to burglaries. Keep reading further to see a map on all the incident where robbery, burglary and theft from vehicle occurred. As a reminder the map accurately reflects the information available at the time of preparation. Numbers may or may not change as more information becomes available.
