SFPD Seeking the Publics Assistance in Tenderloin Shooting

On November 6, 2016, at 1:34 AM San Francisco Police Department officers responded to the unit block of Sixth Street regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found a 61 year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. San Francisco Fire Department paramedics responded and subsequently transported the victim to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

Through the course of the investigation officers learned two suspects entered a market on Sixth Street and walked around for several minutes. One suspect, without provocation, pulled out a gun and shot the victim. Both suspects involved fled the scene.

The suspect who shot the victim is described as a black male in his twenties, wearing a black hat, black pea-coat type jacket, black jeans and black and silver shoes.

The second suspect is described as black male in his twenties wearing a black beanie hat, black t-shirt, black faded jeans and black and white sneakers.
