SFPD Recognizes Officers of the Month for October, November and December #26-025

A special commendation was also presented to a Police Service Aide

The San Francisco Police Department hosted the Officer of the Month Ceremony at City Hall on Wednesday to recognize police officers and personnel who went beyond the call of duty, showing bravery, professionalism, and compassion in their work.

Officer Kevin Clifford of Park Station (October 2025)

Officer Clifford was off duty when he met fellow SFPD officers as they canvassed his neighborhood for a missing child. He quickly mobilized his neighbors and assisted in the search. His efforts ultimately helped locate and reunite the child with his family.

Officer Allan Katz of Central Station (October 2025)

Officer Katz demonstrated compassion and professionalism by locating and paying for a hotel room for an unsheltered mother and her two children.

Officers Angela Maniego, Gabrial Benitez-Vasquez, and Brittney Taylor of Southern Station (November 2025)

Officers Maniego, Benitez-Vasquez, and Taylor discovered an injured victim lying in the street in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood. They immediately rendered medical aid and secured the scene. Investigators obtained a suspect description that led to a swift arrest the following day.

Officer Malia Dudum of Northern Station, Officer Jesse O’Keeffe of Drug Market Coordination Center, and Officer Budiman Poespowidjojo of Special Investigations Unit (December 2025)

Officers at the San Francisco Police Department’s Real-Time Investigation Center (RTIC) identified a vehicle with a stolen license plate and coordinated a response to safely arrest the suspect, who attempted to flee dangerously through oncoming traffic.

Special Commendation: Police Service Aide Wen Li Chan of Park Station

On October 9, a routine shift at Park Station turned into a successful arrest thanks to the sharp instincts of Police Service Aide Chan. After recognizing a wanted suspect from a crime bulletin, she quickly alerted Park Station sergeants — leading to a coordinated response and a safe arrest of the suspect in the station lobby.
