SFPD Recap: SFPD Arrest Car Jacking Suspects

On September 14th, 2016 at 3:24 AM SFPD Officers responded to a call of a carjacking that took place on the 6000 block of Geary Blvd (Between 24th & 25th Ave) in the Richmond District. Shortly after dispatch put out the vehicle description, Officers on patrol were able to locate the vehicle. After attempting to effect a traffic stop, the suspect took off and a short vehicle pursuit occurred. The vehicle then crashed into a light pole and parking meter on 2nd and King Street. 2 of the suspects remained in the vehicle and a 3rd suspect fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, officers were able to take the 3rd suspect into custody. All 3 suspects were transported to the hospital where they will be treated and transported to SF County Jail pending charges related to this incident.
