SFPD Press Conference – 2016 Lamotte Homicide Investigation

A press conference will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at 2:30 PM to provide updated reward information on the homicide investigation of Keron Lamotte. The SFPD Homicide Detail and a member of the Lamotte Family will be present.  

Background:  

On October 7, 2016, at approximately 7:06 p.m., officers responded to the corner of Broad St. and Plymouth Ave. regarding a shooting that just occurred. Officers arrived on scene and located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene. Despite the life-saving efforts of the emergency responders one victim, identified as Keron Lamotte, was declared deceased at the scene. The other victim was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.   

This press conference will be held in Room 1025 at San Francisco Police Headquarters, located at 1245 3rd Street.
