San Francisco police are seeking the public’s help in locating a homicide suspect. On Monday, September 23, 2013 at approximately 9:50 PM, a 20 year old male was shot to death as he exited an eastbound MUNI LRV at Randolph and Bright Street.

The suspect and victim do not appear to have known each other. The attack appears to be random and unprovoked. The suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, fled the scene and remains at large.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, 20-30 years of age with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat with a purple brim and a logo on the front. He also was wearing white fleece hooded jacket with grey lining, blue jeans and black running shoes with white trim.

A MUNI surveillance camera captured the suspect’s image prior to the incident. The surveillance video and still photographs of the suspect accompany this press release.

If anyone has information on the identification of the suspect please contact Homicide Sergeant Gary Watts at 415-734-3114 or the anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444. Citizens may also access text-a-tip at TIP411 and type SFPD in the subject line.
