SFPD Makes Arrest in Tenderloin Assault 19-005

On Monday November 26, 2018 at approximately 7:19 PM police officers from San Francisco’s Tenderloin District were patrolling the 1000 block of Market Street. Officers observed an unconscious male lying on his back at the intersection of Market Street and Jones Street. Officers determined that the subject was the victim of an assault. The officers rendered aid and summoned an ambulance to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

San Francisco Police Department’s Night Investigations Unit commenced and investigation that led to the identity of the suspect. On Wednesday January 2, 2018 at 9:39 PM, with the assistance of Daly City Police Department, San Francisco Police officers arrested 26 year-old Daly City resident Devonte Talley-McGee. Talley-McGee was booked at San Francisco County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon, battery causing serious injury and an outstanding warrant.
