SFPD Investigates Kelloch Street Homicide 23-099

On Thursday, August 3, 2023, at approximately 9:43 p.m., dispatch received a 9-1-1 call from a person advising they had been shot. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the area of the unit block of Kelloch Street. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene. 

Medics transported the victim to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of emergency responders and the hospital staff, the victim was declared deceased at the hospital.  

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail arrived on scene and are leading this open and active investigation.
