SFPD ICAC Unit Makes Arrest in Child Exploitation Investigation 22-119

In April 2021, the SFPD Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit received a report from a female victim who was extorted for nude images, nude videos, and sexually explicit video calls by user “Jack Lucas” on a social media platform. SFPD ICAC investigators began an investigation into the suspect. As a result of the investigation, the ICAC Unit identified the suspect as Aidan Worley, a 22- year-old resident of Livermore, CA. 

On August 19, 2022, SFPD investigators served a search warrant on the 400 block of Ann Court in Livermore, CA. During the search warrant service, Worley was taken into custody without further incident.  Investigators seized multiple electronic devices as evidence.  

Worley was booked at San Francisco County Jail on the charges of Communicating with a Minor to Produce Child Pornography (288.3(a) PC), Sending Harmful Matter to a Child with the Intent to Seduce (288.2(a)(1) PC), Sending Sexual Messages to a Child (288.2(a)(2) PC), Use or Coerce a Minor to Appear in Child Pornography (311.4(c) PC), Extortion (518 PC), Possession of Child Pornography (311.11(a) PC), Distribution of Child Pornography (311.1(a) PC), and Annoy or Molest a Child (647.6 PC). 

ICAC’s investigation determined that Worley has additional minor victims in which the victims were extorted for nude images or videos through social media applications.
