SFPD Chief William Scott Announces Command Staff Assignments

On Friday, December 14,^, 2018 San Francisco Police Chief William Scott announced the assignment of several captains to District Station positions, effective December 15, 2018:

-       Nicholas Rainsford to Taraval Station

-       Renee Pagano to Field Operations, Night Captain

-       Paul Yep to Staff Services

-       Robert Yick to Central Station

-       Steve Ford to Professional Standards and Principled Policing Unit

-       Milanda Moore to Airport Bureau

-       Valerie Matthews to Bayview Station

-       Laura Knight to Crime Information Services

-       Alvin Yee to Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI)

These transfers are part of Chief Scott’s organizational plan to place members into positions that enhance organizational effectiveness giving the Department the best opportunity to implement reforms, service the needs of our communities and build the skills of talented police managers.
