SFPD Arrests Richmond District Shooting Suspect #26-016
On November 8, 2025, at approximately 8:53 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the area of Fulton Street and Great Highway Blvd. regarding a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds and rendered aid. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported 4 juvenile victims with non-life-threatening injuries and 1 adult male victim with life-threatening injuries to a local hospital.
The SFPD Violence Reduction Team (VRT) took over the investigation. Through the course of the investigation, officers identified the 17-year-old male suspect and located him on February 8, 2026, in the area of Galvez Avenue and 3rd Street.
Investigators developed probable cause to arrest the suspect who was transported to the Juvenile Justice Center where he was booked for the felony charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm (245(B) PC), minor in possession of a firearm (29610(A) PC), carrying a concealed firearm (25400(A)(1) PC), carrying a concealed firearm in public without a valid license (25400(A)(2) PC), carrying a loaded firearm on the person while in a public place (25850(A) PC), and possession of stolen property (496(A) PC).
Due to the age of the suspect, his identity will not be released.
