SFPD Arrests Murder Suspect in the Mission District #26-011
On February 6, 2026, at approximately 12:11 a.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the 1900 block of Mission Street regarding a stabbing.
Officers arrived on scene and located a victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. Officers rendered aid and requested paramedics to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of medical staff, the victim was declared deceased at the hospital.
San Francisco Homicide detail responded to the scene and is leading this investigation.
Through the course of the investigation, officers located a suspect matching the description provided near the area of 15th and Mission Streets. The suspect was detained without further incident.
Investigators developed probable cause to arrest 47-year-old Paulino Inxah of San Francisco.
During a search of Inxah’s person, a knife was located and seized.
Inxah was transported to San Francisco County Jail and booked for murder (187 pc) and narcotics paraphernalia (11364(a) HS).
