San Francisco Police Department Investigates Ingleside Homicide 22-101

On August 3, 2022, at approximately 3:20 pm, San Francisco Police Officers assigned to Ingleside Station responded to Velasco Avenue and Santos Street on a report of a shooting on a bus. 

When officers arrived on scene, they located a 20-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered medical aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Officers later learned a second victim, a 62-year-old female, self-transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury. Despite lifesaving efforts by Officers, paramedics, and medical personnel the male victim succumbed to his injuries. 

The San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail is leading the investigation.
