San Francisco Police Department Investigates Ingleside District Homicide 22-099

On August 1, 2022, at approximately 5:04 pm, San Francisco Police Officers assigned to Ingleside Station responded to the unit block of Brookdale Avenue on a report of a person who was shot at that location 

When officers arrived on scene, they located a 17-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers began rendering aid including cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and summoned medics to the scene. Paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. Despite life-saving efforts by officers, paramedics, and hospital staff the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.  

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail are leading this investigation.
