San Francisco Police Arrest Suspected Prolific Graffiti Taggers in Chinatown 20-127

On October 15, 2020, at approximately 2:22 AM Central District officers responded to the 1000 block of Grant Ave. regarding a report of two subjects painting graffiti on a rooftop. Officers arrived on scene and searched the rooftop where they located two male subjects. The subjects were escorted off the roof down to the sidewalk. The officers’ investigation determined probable cause to arrest the suspects for the graffiti.

The suspects are identified as Zachariah Ho-Seher aka “BERO”, a 28-year-old male from San Francisco, and Scott Smith aka “ACER” a 21-year-old male from Rio Vista. Ho-Seher and Smith were each booked at San Francisco County Jail for felony vandalism (594(b)(1) PC) and conspiracy (182 PC).

Attached to this news release are two photographs of the graffiti tags, "BERO” and “ACER," which measures approximately 10 feet tall and 20 feet wide.
