San Francisco Police Arrest Homicide Suspect

On May 30, 2016, at approximately 2:54 AM, San Francisco Police responded to the 600 block of Alabama Street in the Mission District on reports of a person that was shot. When officers arrived to the scene they found a female victim, later identified as Tiara Williamson, laying on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds. The San Francisco Fire Department and Paramedics responded and rendered aid, but Williamson tragically succumbed to her wounds shortly after being transported to a local hospital.

On August 31, 2016, Barrios-Ixolin was taken into custody on the unit block of Reardon Court in the Bayview District without incident. Barrios-Ixolin was subsequently booked into San Francisco County Jail for the murder of Williamson. Due to pending identification matters, his booking photo will not be released at this time.
