San Francisco Police Announce $25,000 Reward in July 2020 Bayview Homicide 23-034

On Monday, July 20, 2020, at approximately 4:40 p.m., San Francisco Police officers from Bayview Station responded to the area of Innes Avenue and Phelps Street for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located a 19-year-old male victim with an apparent gunshot wound, who was later identified as Marsai Gross. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  

On Sunday, July 26, 2020, Mr. Gross succumbed to his injuries.   The investigation is being led by the SFPD Homicide Detail.  

The San Francisco Police Department is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Marsai Gross. A bulletin announcing this reward is attached to this news release.
