San Francisco Fire Fighter Arrested in the SOMA District

On June 29, 2013, at 11:34 PM a traffic collision occurred at the intersection of 5th and Howard Streets involving a San Francisco Fire truck and a motorcycle. The SFFD truck was responding to an emergency call with its lights and siren activated. The motorcycle rider suffered non life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.

San Francisco Police units responded to the scene to conduct the accident investigation. The driver of the fire truck, Michael Quinn, 43 years old, of San Francisco was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of a traffic collision.
