Missing Person Case Determined to be a Homicide 18-006
On June 24, 2017 the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office responded to a warehouse in Hayward California, where human remains were located. The San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed the identity of the person. Piseth Chhay who had been reported missing was last seen on May 14, 2017, has been confirmed as the deceased person located in the warehouse.
The San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail Unit is conducting a homicide investigation for the death of Piseth Chhay. The investigators have identified Bob Tang (aka "Bob Tov") as a suspect and is believed to have fled to the country to Cambodia. SFPD is working with its law enforcement partners to locate and arrest Tang.
