January 24, 2010 Oakdale Ave Homicide Anniversary: Huan Zhou Chen

San Francisco Police Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance with any information leading to the identification and/or arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for the senseless homicide of Huan Zhou Chen two years ago today.

The Office of the Mayor authorized a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for the assault on 83-year-old Huan Zhou Chen on January 24, 2010 on the 1600 block of Oakdale Avenue at approximately 6:00 P.M. A group of male juveniles brutally attacked Mr. Chen, striking him on the back of his head, causing him to fall to the pavement and hit his head. Mr. Chen died from his injuries on March 19, 2010.
