Felon in Possession of Ammunition

Officers responding to an auto-burglary in progress located an individual matching the description of the suspect, wearing a face mask, riding a Ford GoBike on MLK Jr Dr in the direction opposite to traffic and looking into parked vehicles. The officers conducted a cold show with the witnesses, who confirmed similar build and clothes but were unable to positively identify suspect’s face due to the mask he was wearing. A search of the suspect’s backpack revealed two loaded high-capacity magazines, burglary tools, and credit cards and identification not belonging to him. The suspect was on parole for burglary and on probation for petty theft and possession of heroin. The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail on the following charges: Probation Violation, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a High-capacity Magazine, and possession of burglary tools.
