Central District Chinatown Community Meeting 17-180

In collaboration with the District 3 Supervisor’s Office and the Safety Awareness For Everyone (SAFE) Organization, the San Francisco Police Department will hold a community meeting regarding safety messages affecting the Chinatown neighborhood. The community meeting will take place on December 4, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 6:30PM, and will be held at the City College of San Francisco, Chinatown Campus.

The following individuals will be present to address any questions and concerns brought forth by the community:

  • District 3 Supervisor Aaron Peskin
  • Chief of Police William Scott
  • Commander David Lazar, Community Engagement Bureau
  • Commander Teresa Ewins, Traffic Company & SFMTA

Topics and issues to discuss will include:

  • Translated Department Policies
  • Video Surveillance Cameras
  • Blessing, Internet, and Phone Scams
  • Crimes occurring on Muni
  • Pedestrian and Traffic Safety
  • Updates on recent crime trends and safety issues
