Bayview Station Newsletter - September 26, 2018

I'm pleased to showcase a visit from one the best basketball players in the world. Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant visited Willie Brown Jr. Middle School on Friday, September 21st.

This event was a tremendous success! Mr. Durant provided Willie Brown School with a check donation of $10,000 on behalf of Alaska Airlines and played basketball with the kids. This was a true sign of care and compassion for the betterment and upkeep of children, emphasizing the importance of educational development. Former Mayor Willie Brown was also present which was extremely important given his long history of leadership and community stewardship.
