SFPD Investigates Tenderloin District Homicide #26-100

On July 24, 2026, San Francisco Police officers responded to the 200 block of Jones Street regarding an aggravated assault that occurred at approximately 3:57 p.m. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim who was being treated by paramedics suffering from injuries due to the assault. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital for potentially life-threatening injuries. The victim remained in the hospital receiving medical treatment for his injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of the medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased in the hospital on August 4, 2026.
