SFPD Investigates Taraval District Homicide #26-056
On May 17, 2026, at approximately 5:21 a.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the 2500 block of 46th Ave. regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from injuries caused by gunshot wounds and rendered aid. Paramedics arrived on scene and performed lifesaving measures. Despite the lifesaving efforts of first responders, the victim was declared deceased on scene.
The San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail responded to the scene and is leading the investigation.
