SFPD Investigates Suspicious Death in the Southern District 25-109

On August 30, 2025, at approximately 11:13 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the 800 block of Brannan Street on a report of a physical altercation between two subjects. 

When officers arrived on scene, they observed an unresponsive adult male lying on the ground and rendered aid. Paramedics arrived on scene and declared the victim deceased. The Medical Examiner Investigators were notified and responded to the scene. They declared the death suspicious.    

The San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail was notified of the suspicious death and took over the investigation.
