In the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 15, 2026, the San Francisco Police Department and other participating law enforcement agencies conducted a narcotics operation that resulted in the arrest of eight adults. The buy-bust operation focused on those selling illegal narcotics on the street.

During the arrests, officers located and seized a total of 558.1 grams (1.23 lbs.) of suspected illegal narcotics, including fentanyl, cocaine base, heroin, methamphetamine, and prescription medication. During the operation, officers discovered two suspects in possession of loaded firearms, which officers seized and added additional charges.

The operation included SFPD officers from the DMACC Enforcement Team, SFPD Narcotics Unit, San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the California National Guard.

The SFPD would like to thank the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the California National Guard for their assistance, which was instrumental in this operation. We will continue to prioritize efforts to address the drug crisis in our city by taking suspected drug dealers off our streets and holding them accountable.

Although arrests have been made, these investigations remain open and active. Anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 1-415-575-4444 or Text-A-Tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD.
