This operation focused on fugitives with outstanding arrest warrants.
The one-day operation throughout the city was a part of DMACC’s ongoing efforts to disrupt narcotic sales and drug markets in the city. Of the 76 arrests made, 57 individuals had arrest warrants, including 5 arrests made by the SFPD Fugitive Recovery Enforcement Team. Police officers located and seized a total of 85.3 grams of narcotics. During the operation, officers from the SFPD Crime Gun Investigations Center (CGIC) also recovered a firearm.
The operation included SFPD officers from the Fugitive Recovery Enforcement Team (FRET), DMACC Enforcement Team, Narcotics Unit, Narcotics Drug Recognition Expert Team, Tenderloin Patrol, Tenderloin Plainclothes Team, Southern Station Patrol, Mission Plainclothes Team, Healthy Streets Operation Center (HSOC), Honda Unit, Adult Probation Department, and SFSO.
The SFPD would like to thank the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office (SFSO) for its assistance, which was instrumental in this operation. We will continue to prioritize efforts to address the drug crisis in our city by taking wanted suspects off our streets and holding individuals who sell illegal narcotics accountable.
Although arrests have been made, these investigations remain open and active. Anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 1-415-575-4444 or Text-A-Tip to TIP411, beginning your message with "SFPD".
