SFPD Arrests Armed Robbery Suspects 25-064

On May 18, 2025, at approximately 4:02 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the 1100 block of Lombard Street regarding an armed robbery that had just occurred. Officers arrived on the scene and located two victims who stated that several suspects approached one of the victims and demanded their property while brandishing firearms. One of the suspects pistol-whipped the victim, which caused injury, but they were unsuccessful. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle traveling on Lombard St. toward Larkin St. Medics arrived on the scene and treated the injured victim for non-life-threatening injuries.

With the assistance of citywide Automated License Reader (ALPR) cameras and SFPD drones, the suspect vehicle was seen traveling in the area of Market and Octavia streets. On-duty SFPD officers operating in plainclothes responded to the area and observed the vehicle with the suspects inside. The plainclothes officers coordinated a plan with uniformed officers to stop the vehicle and detain the suspects. Officers observed the vehicle travelling to Division and Bryant streets, where it was stopped in heavy traffic. In this area, the suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot. SFPD officers, both in plainclothes and uniforms, pursued the suspects on foot and detained all four of them.     

Officers developed probable cause to arrest 30-year-old male, Jose Arturo Cedeno, for the felony charges of attempted robbery (664/211 PC), conspiracy (182(a)(1) PC), assault with a deadly weapon (245(a)(1) PC), convicted felon in possession of a firearm (29800 (a)(1) PC), resisting arrest (148 PC), and several charges related to illegally carrying a loaded firearm. Cedeno was also arrested for a San Francisco warrant for grossly negligent discharge of a firearm (246.3(a)(1) PC), and arrest warrants from Hillsborough PD and Santa Clara PD.

Officers developed probable cause to arrest 18-year-old male, Noe Alexander Hernandez, for the felony charges of attempted robbery (664/211 PC), conspiracy (182(a)(1) PC), assault with a deadly weapon (245(a)(1) PC), assault with a firearm (245 (a)(2) PC), resisting arrest (148 PC), providing a false name to a police officer (148.9 PC), and convicted felon in possession of stun gun (22610(a) PC). Hernandez was also arrested for arrest warrants from Menlo Park PD and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers developed probable cause to arrest 20-year-old male, Elder Lariosmayan, for the felony charges of attempted robbery (664/211 PC), conspiracy (182(a)(1) PC), assault with a deadly weapon (245(a)(1) PC), assault with a firearm (245 (a)(2) PC), possession of stolen firearm (496 (a) PC), possession of narcotics (11370.1 H&S), grand theft (487 (d) (2) PC), carrying a concealed firearm (25400(a)(1) PC), resisting arrest (148(a)(1) PC), and charges related to the illegal possession of a concealed firearm by a convicted felon.

Officers developed probable cause to arrest 22-year-old male, Carlos Geovany Alegria, for the felony charges of attempted robbery (664/211 PC), conspiracy (182(a)(1) PC), assault with a deadly weapon (245(a)(1) PC), assault with a firearm (245 (a)(2) PC), and resisting arrest (148 PC).

All the suspects were transported to the San Francisco County Jail, where they were booked for their charges. The suspect vehicle was towed and impounded for the investigation.
